Our DCEU Playlist

Back in June of 2018, the Screen Heroes podcast decided to take on the DCEU and create their own vision for the cinematic universe.

We began with a rewrite of the first entry, Man of Steel, followed by Batman v Superman. After that, Our DCEU diverted from the WB movies. We decided that our story could do justice, pun intended, to a Justice League Dark story. After that, we gave Shazam his solo film prior to the release of the actual Shazam movie in March of 2019. That solo flick was followed-up with our version of a Justice League movie. Then, we called an audible and pitched our vision for The Batman in the wake of the casting rumors.

Glass Movie Review

We take on M. Night Shyamalan’s Unbreakable sequel 19 years in the making, Glass… which is also a sequel to Split. Before we dive into the McAvoy\Willis\Jackson triangle trilogy, we talk news including this year’s Oscar nominations, which nominations we like, which we don’t, and what films we think might win some of the categories. Then we discuss a bit about the newly announced Ghostbusters movie that returns to the original timeline. Finally, ShazamGate continues into 2019!

Don’t forget ShazamGate with a brand new shirt design available right now on our TeePublic store. Get you Screen Heroes swag!

Our DCEU: Shazam!

Our DCEU continues with our vision of a Shazam! movie. So far we’ve re-written Man of Steel and Batman v Superman. Then Our DCEU diverged from the real one with our Justice League Dark movie. This week, we continue the path we’ve created by introducing Shazam.

Plus, we talk about news with a heavy focus on the Netflix Marvel series cancellations of Iron Fist and Luke Cage along with what that might mean for Daredevil and the rest of the shows. We also talked about the delay of Wonder Woman 1984.

Are you enjoying Our DCEU? Where do you want to see our film universe go? Did you have different ideas for Shazam film? We want to know! Comment below or hit us up @HeroesPodcasts on Twitter or Facebook!

What did you think of Ant-Man and the Wasp? How did it live up to the first Ant-Man film? What about as the first post-Infinity War MCU movie to release? We want to know!
