Episode 218: Batman (1989) Retro Review

It’s time for a Retro Review of 1989’s Batman from Tim Burton starring Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson! We talk casting, aesthetics, story, and more from this live action re-imagining of the Dark Knight. Before that, we talk the latest news in entertainment including things heating up between Ray Fisher (Cyborg) and Warner Bros. over his Justice League accusations, the cancellation of Venture Bros. after 17 years, our biggest box office weekend since March thanks to Tenet, and the release of the live action Mulan on Disney Plus’ premiere offering along with a lot of controversy surrounding the film.

Aquaman Review

We finish off 2018 with our review of Aquaman! Due to the early Amazon Prime screening, we reviewed this movie last week without a live show. So you can consider this a special episode. Justice League Movie Review

Justice League has landed and so it’s time to talk about all that we liked and didn’t for the latest DCEU film. Synder and Whedon brought together DC Comics’ most iconic heroes including Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash,  Cyborg, and Aquaman! Did the movie pull it off or is a bust for Warner Bros?

What did you think of Justice League?

Don’t forget to check out our Patreon for our new monthly movie series! Each month we’re going to do a fun parody scene and so far we’ve done a scene from Pulp Fiction and Scream! November’s scene will have something to do with DC Comics heroes though… maybe even Batman. Want to know more? Become a Patron today and watch the first two videos on our YouTube channel now!
